The thief hid behind an old oak stump, careful not to disturb the quiet and draw attention to himself. For some reasons the guards had not followed him into the forest but for all he  knew, it could be a trap. He gave himself some time to catch his breath and get used to his surroundings. It is a remarkable yet puzzling thing; a life. A single painful breath is all it takes; and from then on springs an avalanche of events; smaller than the tiniest speck of stardust, larger than the galaxy itself, and everything in between. An impulse, a constraint, to keep going, day after day, breath after breath, on the mysterious path to the unknown.
